After a good flight from Manchester Airport into Copenhagen and quickly clearing the airport terminal we were coached straight to the quayside terminal to have our boarding passes issued. Once this was done it was photo time (above) and then time to go aboard and wait for the luggage to be delivered to our stateroom. With the weather fine, on our arrival this soon changed as the afternoon went on to turn to rain. At 21:03 the Sea Princess left her berth and set sail for Nynashamn Sweden (our port to Stockholm).
These pictures were taken at various
times on the cruise around the ship.Above :- part of the bridge viewed from
the promenade deck, our balcony looking out from our room on a slightly
foggy afternoon and the only way you want to see the life boats close up
on a cruise to the right.

The first day was to be spent at sea. During the night we worked our way around some of the Islands off Denmark and then under the Great Belt Bridge ( the second longest bridge in the world). As the day went on the Temperature rose to a nice 20 Deg C with the sun out most of the day with calm seas. The day was spent mainly exploring the ship, with the shops, theatre/cinema, bars, restaurants there was a lot to take in and then some sunning done on the balcony.
