As We Approach The Coast Of Estonia, Tallin Becomes More Visible.

Poland Here We Come, The Sun Is Shining & The Weather Was Certainly On Our Side. Time For Some Sun & Drinks.

 

 

 

Day 8

Gydnia Poland

We moored at Tallin at 07:23, But with only a stay of approximately 5 hours we didn't have long before we were off on our excursions. Ours was called "Shopping in old Tallin" enableing us to walk around and explore some of the "old town" and vist the Muurivahe knitware market.

As WeCame In The Ship Turned To Moor Stern In, The Bright Sunlight Gave Opportunity For Some Good Photo's. In The Centre Photo You Can Just See The Estonian TV Tower.

Officially Opened On November 7th (Soviet Revolution Day) In 1980, The 314m Tower Was, And Is, An Imposing Example Of Soviet Engineering. From Its Observation Deck At The 170m Level, You Can See Finland On A Clear Day..

After A Quick Tour Of Old Tallinn It Was Time To Get Back On Board.
